Meet Dr. Tim Gallagher, Founder & CEO
Timothy Gallagher, D.C., Founder and CEO of Gallagher Chiropractic and Medical Wellness, is a licensed chiropractor and has been serving patients in Central Massachusetts since 1997. Dr. Gallagher earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts. He went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College in 1996.
Dr. Gallagher has always believed in a team approach to patient care, and in 2018 decided to partner with Maragal Medical and Michael Marciello, M.D. to be able to provide his patients with the best full-service care possible.
Dr. Gallagher’s expert diagnostic skills allow him to get to the root cause of the patient’s problem. Once a diagnosis has been made the clinicians at GCMW are able to offer cutting-edge treatment options including chiropractic care, Class 4 laser therapy, weight management, and orthotics to help stabilize the patient’s condition.
Dr. Gallagher is the first chiropractor in New England to partner with a medical provider to form an MSO and full-service Medical and Chiropractic Clinic and is one of the only clinics in the region to offer Cox cervical and lumbar decompression therapy for more complicated spinal cases. He treats most common ailments, including sciatica, neck pain, back pain, arthritic pain, plantar fasciitis, and more. Dr. Gallagher customizes every treatment plan to meet the needs of each individual patient.
Outside of the office, Dr. Gallagher enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and watching his children grow up. He currently lives in Lexington, Massachusetts, with his wife and their two children.
David Sherman, DC
Meet Dr. David Sherman, DC
Dr. David Sherman graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1997, helping people feel better for over 20 years. While at Palmer College, he interned in extremity training, teaching other chiropractors at seminars. He has also done post graduate training in Rehabilitation of the Spine and was certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) thru the NSCA. He recently became the team trainer for his son’s traveling soccer team & enjoys working with athletes of all levels.
Dr. Dave works with all ages from infants to elderly, helping people to improve their body’s ability to function at it’s best by creating balance and symmetry of the spine and body to be able to do the things in life that they enjoy the most. He has been at Dr Gallagher’s office for the past 4 years with a great appreciation for Cox Decompression as he was a patient first, getting help on his own neck before joining the practice as a chiropractor.
Dr. Sherman is married to Claudia with a son David and canine companion Rocky. He enjoys traveling as well being outdoors with his family in the country setting at their home in Douglas.

Meet Dr. Laurissa Simms, DC
Dr. Laurissa is a native of and resides in Leominster, MA. with her husband and daughter. Helping people live happily, healthfully, and without pain or limitations are her vocational passions, while yoga, running, sailing, and skiing are her inspirations.

Meet Dr. Steven Sawyer, DC
Dr. Steven P. Sawyer has been a practicing chiropractor since 1982 restoring health naturally while reducing pain and improving function. He ran a private practice in Worcester, MA for more than 25 years before joining Page Chiropractic in Webster, MA in 2011 and Dr.Gallagher in October of 2016. He enjoys hiking, kayaking and all sports. He has lived on a working horse farm in Hubbardston, MA since 1994 and has helped many equestrians improve their riding form. He looks forward to the many exciting changes happening at this office and the ability to help many more patients in the future.
